LEANING INTO FEAR
Fearless is a myth. Forward is a choice.

SPEAKING FROM EXPERIENCE
FROM STUNTWOMAN TO KEYNOTE SPEAKER - HOW FEAR BECAME MY MOST POWERFUL MESSAGE
Hannah Betts has worn many bold titles — Police Officer, World Champion Skydiver, and Award-Winning Hollywood Stuntwoman — but don’t let the résumé fool you. She’s not fearless. In fact, she proudly calls herself a “professional scaredy cat.”
After a lifetime of being labeled an adrenaline junkie, Hannah’s message flips the narrative: fear isn’t something to conquer — it’s something to listen to, move with, and grow through.
Drawing on decades of real-world bravery (and a few panic attacks), Hannah teaches that the most courageous choices don’t always come with fanfare — they happen in everyday moments: saying yes before you feel fully ready, choosing change over the comfort of stagnation, and trusting that confidence lives on the far side of action.
Her keynote, Leaning Into Fear, blends humor, heart, and raw vulnerability — guiding audiences to rethink fear not as something to outrun, but something to walk with. She offers:
-
An evidence-based approach grounded in lived experience
-
Content tailored to your culture, goals, and challenges
-
Tools that shift mindsets and spark immediate action
-
Delivery that’s equal parts storytelling, strategy, and soul

“I teach others how to navigate fear — not by trying to remove it, but by showing what’s possible when we’re honest about it.”

THE BACK STORY
Hannah Betts took an unconventional path from the very beginning. At 18, she moved to Honduras to volunteer as an English teacher for a year, then spent the following year travelling and working across Australia. It was during this time that her love for people, challenge, and stepping into the unfamiliar truly took root.
She returned to the U.K. to earn a Higher National Diploma in Outdoor Education — a dynamic blend of sports psychology and adventure-based instruction.
She became a course leader with The King’s Trust, a national charity that works with at-risk youth from inner-city communities, guiding them into the outdoors to experience adventure, connection, and discover their own inner strength. That early work in personal development planted the seeds for what would become her life’s through-line: helping people lean into discomfort to discover what they’re capable of.
Hannah later became an active-duty Police Officer in the U.K.’s second largest city where she served for over five years, eventually specializing in domestic violence liaison work. It was during her time on the force that she discovered skydiving — a sport that would transform her life. She quickly rose through the ranks, joining the British Skydiving Team at an unprecedented pace and winning gold at the 2008 World Championships.
After relocating to California to pursue skydiving full-time, Hannah went on to represent Team USA at an international level, serve as an instructor on military freefall courses for Navy SEALs, Army Rangers, and international Special Forces, and take part in the still-standing world record “Jump for the Cause”— linking 181 women in freefall.
Hannah’s skydiving career opened the door to the world of stunts, and for the past decade she has worked full-time as a Hollywood Stuntwoman — with over 120 film and television credits to her name and as a two-time Taurus World Stunt Award winner (2024). She also serves as a board member for the prestigious Stuntwomen’s Association of Motion Pictures, advocating for women at the highest levels of action performance in film and television.
These days, Hannah channels her experience into helping others navigate the emotional terrain of fear, self-doubt, and personal growth — shaped by a life spent moving between high-risk environments and deeply human moments. Whether working with high performers, corporate teams, or everyday people facing big changes, she brings a rare mix of intensity, vulnerability, and humor to every room she enters. Her work isn’t about performing courage — it’s about practicing it, one honest, uncomfortable step at a time. Because the real work — the good stuff — always begins when we choose to lean into fear.
